貼揮春的祝福和小感動
今日是年廿九, 有貼揮春的傳統, 以寄望為新一年帶來祝福。
這個活動令我想起助養小女孩Rohlupuii Fanchun令我感動的事情。
當年我先生告訴我, 他覺得自己很幸運, 認識到他的第一個女朋友 (即係我Koyee) , 所以決定助養他的第一個小女孩Rohlupuii Fanchun。如果他日後有能力的話, 就會助養更多的小孩子。
很多年前, 我收到小女孩Rohlupuii Fanchun的信, 多謝我先生對她的助養。她告訴我得到支持後, 她的村莊已經有很多轉變和改善, 她的家庭已經能夠自給自足了, 並要求我先生停止對她的助養, 把資源讓給更有需要的人。
我每年都把三個助養小孩子的信貼在門上, 將孩子濃濃的祝福貼滿。
The Blessing In My Chinese New Year Couplets And The Little Touching Story Therein
Today is the 29th day of the last month in our Lunar New Year Calendar.
It is our tradition to post some Chinese New Year couplets (usually on the walls and doors) as a blessing for the coming year.
This activity reminded me of the touching event years ago which involved a foster child --- a little girl named Rohlupuii Fanchun.
My husband told me years ago that he was too lucky to come to know me as his first girl friend, so he decided to foster his first child who was the little girl Rohlupuii Fanchun.
It was also his hope to foster more kids if he could afford it.
Many years ago Rohlupuii Fanchun wrote to me and thanked my husband for his fostering. She said due to his donation her village had improved tremendously, and that her family had managed to live on their own. She requested my husband to give his resource to other more needy persons and not to foster her anymore.
Every year when I post these three foster children's letters on the door, my mind is fully filled with their heartfelt blessing, as much as it is on the door.
